Description

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Since Thingiverse was having performance issues and people are reporting getting 404 errors, I decided to place all my designs on my own website https://properprinting.pro/product-category/3d-print-files/ All files can be downloaded from there for free and all updates and new designs are placed on there too.

I recently made a swappable hot end which can be found here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3547740 on which this laser engraver can be placed. I intentionally placed the female version of the d sub connector at the tool side because the mixed male version fits a regular female one and not vice versa.

A major advantage I have encountered is that you don't have to connect the laser directly to the control board, or worse, with a switch. You can just use the schematics as shown in the swappable hot end and connect the laser to the part fan and the fan of the laser to the hot end fan. In this way the fan is constantly spinning which keeps the engraver colder.

Please consider buying me a coffee if you liked it or helped you :) http://ko-fi.com/properprinting/

EDIT
I took for granted that I use these m3 brass inserts so I forgot to upload a version with smaller holes in which the screws for mounting the sub D connector can be screwed in directly. So, print out this version if you don't have these inserts ;)
