Description
This is a remix of the 12 Tooth Dual Ulysse Escapement as well as some of the parts of the clock itself.
My list of problems I encountered and the solutions are as follows:
The pallets were not engaging the escapement wheels properly and slipping - slightly increased the length of the bottom and sides of the pallets.
The gravity ratchet was slipping and sent the main weight crashing to the floor - switched to a bending plastic ratchet which more firmly engages the ratchet and added a holder for the crank at the end.
The crank hexagonal hole was a little too large for the hexagonal peg and would not engage when trying to wind the clock - switched to a square shape to make it harder to slip completely even when loose.
12 tooth escapement wheels were accidentally posted reversed in the original remix - I just mirrored each wheel and resaved.
The secondwheel-esc2-clock20.stl gear was too big to fit inside the bottom frame without hitting the support post of the gear below it - I carved a little off of the bottom frame support post to make room for the gear. (You could just skip printing this if you have already printed it and just file the support down some instead)
No main weight container was provided - The necessary ~2lbs of weight can be obtained by filling the Penny Weight with about $4 of US pennies.
