Latch Cryptex - Cerrojo

This latch is not a toy and can create situations of risk.

Important notes:

1. All parts can be printed without support, except the steam.
2. There are two models, one opens to the right and the other to the left. The discs with the numbers are used for the two designs, and to fix the combination you have to look at the name of the .STL. Thus 0R-1L.stl serves as a zero if it is for the right-hand design and as a one for the left-hand design.
3. Only the steam needs to be sanded. Use metal sandpaper bent in the middle and check that the discs move very smoothly through the pin before mounting.
4. Do not insert the discs upside down, or it will not work well. Look at the corresponding photo.
5. It is possible to lock the latch when it is open and when it is closed, this protects the combination from being copied. The steam can be removed to change the discs and the combination.
6. The lock has 6 discs which generates 1,000,000 possible combinations. It also has ridges so that it can not be opened to the touch. And it does not allow to see inside. It is very resistant and should not be used in places where not opening the door could be dangerous.

Notas importantes:

1. Todas las piezas se pueden imprimir sin soporte, excepto el pasador.
2. Hay dos modelos, uno abre a derechas y el otro a izquierdas. Los discos con los números sirven para los dos diseños, pero para fijar la combinación hay que fijarse en el nombre del .STL . Así 0R-1L.stl sirve como un cero si es para el diseño a derechas y como un uno para el diseño a izquierdas.
3. Solo el pasador necesita ser lijado. Usar una lija para metal doblada al medio y comprobar que los discos se mueven con mucha suavidad a través del pasador antes de montar.
4. No insertar los discos alrevés, o no funcionará bien. Fijarse en la foto correspondiente.
5. Es posible bloquear el cerrojo cuando está abierto y cuando está cerrado, esto proteje la combinación de ser copiada. Se puede desmontar el cerrojo para cambiar los discos y la combinación.
6. El cerrojo tiene 6 discos, lo que genera 1.000.000 de posibles combinaciones. También tiene rebordes para que no se pueda abrir al tacto. Y no permite ver en su interior. Es muy resistente y no debe usarse en sitios donde no poder abrir la puerta pueda resultar peligroso.
