Description
A mount for the Mosaic Palette 2 on the Ultibots D300VS delta. It should work with any delta that has a slotted extrusion on the exterior corner of their printer. The filament can then feed from the floor, freeing up valuable desk space.
There are STLs for left or right side mounting.
Use 3 M4 countersunk screws to attach the provided Mosaic mounting plate. The mount attaches to the printer with 3 M5 screws.
UPDATE: STLs for a hinge to be able to swing the palette out of the way. I'm working on an enclosure for the D300 and the palette is in the way of the door. The hinge uses M5 heatset inserts for the pivot as well as the portion that the palette mounts to.
I used SnoLabs PC+ to print the mount because it's a super strong filament that's easy to print (no enclosure required). But it’s stout enough that any type of filament should be sufficient
Print with largest side laid flat on the bed for maximum strength.
F360 file included if you wish to modify.
(Note, the palette feed tube is not installed in the pic. I use the tube when printing)
