Description
This is another project I'll probably never finish but I thought I'd share it anyway. Someone may find parts of it useful. The idea was to build a ~2.4M electric glider, flat wing with 5 degree dihedral near the tips.
"Fuse" in the file names is short for Fuselage, AKA the glider body.
Main wing spar: 10mm (inside joiner 8mm, would recommend adding a 6mm inner to that and making it long, the ones picture are way to short.)
Fuselage Boom: 10mm
Smaller wing spar: 6mm (inside joiner 4mm solid carbon rod)
The short wing ribs are where the ailerons / flaps go, the whole rib is included you just break the "barely joined" trailing edge off and use those to construct the control surface (aileron / flap).
In the trailing edge balsa strips there are 4 X 1mm carbon strips to add rigidness and strength.
Cheers
