Description
Update: Got a couple requests for the spring-loaded, rubber-band version so I have re-uploaded it.
Update: V9 The wire-guide notches are now straight instead of diagonal. Minor change. Should work better when turning the arms around to get the speakers closer. (See new image.)
Update: V8 Has longer arms for the drivers for folks that want them closer to their head.
Update: V7 has 1mm longer threads on the 16mm arms so you can tighten them more if you want more of a friction fit.
Update: Added alternate driver-arms which allow the driver to allow the fit to be adjusted in or out.
Update: V6 has a properly mirrored pivot-arm!
Update: In v4, the dovetails were not properly mirrored. This has been fixed in v5.
Update: I have been informed that the Rift S rides much higher than the Quest. Please leave a comment and let me know if I need to make the sliding driver-arm longer! Thanks!
Since I can never leave well enough alone. I decided to make a yet another Koss headphone adapter for my Oculus Quest. This one uses magnets instead of rubber-bands. This is the Rift S version of that model.
You will need 8 5mmx2mm magnets. I got them on-line very cheaply.
As always, any feedback is welcome.
Warning: A small number of people, some using counterweights, have reported cracked strap parts. None of them have used my clips, but since the clips put stress on that part I felt I should issue a warning. I have put my clips on and removed them a lot more than anyone else should need to and I have not had a problem, but I felt I should remind everyone that like everything else on Thingiverse, my models are: Use at your own risk.
