Pi Camera mount for Prusa i3 MK3

This simple bracket mounts an pi camera rev. 1.3 (rev. 2.x should work too) to the original prusa i3 mk3.

The bracket is mounted seamless at the rear of the einsty case and dose not exceed the dimensions of the frame. Standard 150mm ribbon cables are long enough.

This design has some limitations with you should know:

• According to the official recommendation from octoprint the pi zero w is explicitly not recommended for octoprint since the limited performance might cause issues with printing while streaming. But from my experience it is not that mutch on an problem. Streaming while printing form sd card works fine.
• The camera intersects with the print volume by 2-3mm.
• The limited space results in an not yet perfect aiming of the camera.

All in all it is the least intrusive way to get a peek on your printer from remote.

You need one 2mm screw to close the lid. Such screws can often be salvaged from plastic toys.
