Description
Alcatraz constructed using 1 meter resolution LiDAR data from NOAA. The source data contained just over a million data points so the STL has about 1.3 million facets/polygons. the size of the map is 647 meters by 513 meters. The buildings are largely removed. I made this using new software I wrote for processing LiDAR data.
