Description
At one time, the Texas Horned Lizard was a common denizen of North Texas. My sister would catch them and dress them up in baby doll clothes (and release them at the end of the day).
Unfortunately, the invading fire ants displaced their natural diet of harvester ants. Insecticides used to fight the fire ants also caused the horned lizard population to decline.
Currently the horned lizard is considered a threatened species. Owning or possessing one is a big no-no.
That's a shame, because they're really cool.
I found this model on the Digimorph site. Lots of cool data there.
