Parametric vase mode cans (soda cans, pringles cans, polygonal cans)

Update 7/2/2019: updated the pringles can default with a tapered base so they stack. Added a photo of Pringles can with an Icebreakers mint top... it fits perfectly.

but aluminum cans are delicate and easily crushed. So I made my own cans.

Fully parametric... make whatever size and shape you wish. Drop the $fn value very low and you can make polygonal containers as well.

The defaults (except the polygons) were created to match standard soda can sizes and a pringles can.

Printed in vase mode. I use a .6 line width using a .4 nozzle and .2 layer height. The result is VERY strong.
