Gift Tag and Business Card Printing Press.

This is a small printing press for making gift tags and business card sized prints. The useful printing area is 3.5in by 2 in. To make plates you just need to make a 3.5"x2" plate a few mm thick, sketch out your design, and extrude it out of the opposite side of the plate by .75 mm or so. I've made a little stand to hold the platten and the plates upside down for easy inking and to keep them from making a mess when you're working with multiple plates for a multicolor print. The easiest way to keep from getting ink on the plates when you roll them out with a brayer is to include a small border around the design but sometimes that's not feasible or desirable so I also included a small frame to go around a plate that the brayer can run along and keep things clean.
