Plant roots irrigation Pflanzen Bewässerung Wurzeln

This is an irrigation system for plants. It needs to be burried into the soil right around the plant. The funnel should end up with the ground and can be filled with lava etc. to be invisible or you can use the version with the grid on it.

There is a bigger and a small version of the system. I added some extensions to get the funnel away from the plant. There are different lengths available. All parts can be combined in either way. You can turn the extension in any direction you want to, the thread doesn't need to be tight neccessarily.

The story behind it: In hot and dry periods of summer, most people irrigate their plants by using a hose or a watering can. But the dry soil is not able to soak up the huge amont of water you will give it in a short amount of time. So most of the water will just run away on the surface of the soil and evaporate. The bad thing is, that the roots of the plants will most likely stay pretty dry. The idea of my thing is to bring the water directly where it really needs to be. Instead of irrigating the whole area around a specific plant you just fill the funnel and let the water flow into the ground, right to the soil near the roots. You will waste less water and provide a way better irrigation for your beloved plants.
