Description
The reason I made this design is because there is a common technique to replace the RF-module with a TRRS-contact thats big enough to fit in the RF hole fo the originial backplate.
Sadly this required a TRRS-contact that was´nt easily purchased here so I designed a new backplate to house a 7mm TRRS-contact instead which is much easier to find.
I purchased my contacts from Mouser (490-SJ1-43502PM).
This gives a much cleaner install rather that drilling holes in the case for RCA-contacts.
It will require you to remove the RF-module and also install a new DC-contact since the original is melted into the original backplate.
To the TRRS-contact you then connect a 3.5mm to 3xRCA cable for both video and audio.
