Description
There is nothing better than a quiet walk in the woods alone; except for a walk in the woods with a break action shotgun. If one is going out with a break action shotgun, it is even better to have a couple extra shells strapped to one's belt. You know, for snakes, and coyotes, and supper.
This belt clip allows you to carry two extra 12 gauge shells and either a .223 Remington or 9x19mm (9mm Luger) cartridge (.222 Remington also fits). This will be particularly useful for those of you who carry a 12/.223 over-under, or those, like me, who have a 9mm chamber adapter in your pocket.
This is a mashup of two different ideas: the "12 gauge/222.rem 5,7x43" by Oskar1990 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2720749) and the "Comfortable Leatherman Wave belt holster" by WaveSupportApparatus (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1065346). Oskar1990's thing is a marvelous shell holder, but I found that the belt clip kept breaking. WaveSupportApparatus' belt holder for the Leatherman Wave is all around a superior design, but it doesn't hold shotgun shells (it does a great job of holding my Leatherman Wave, though). So, I took the best of both. Then, I modified the .222/.223 slot to also hold a 9mm round. That is the only part of this that is genuinely my design.
