Case for Metric Tap & Die Set (Irwin/Hanson 12 pc) Remix

This thing is a remix of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1707246 Case for Metric Tap & Die Set (Irwin/Hanson 12 pc) by cbc. I printed the original design and found many of the same issues noted by the designer and others in the comments section of his thing.

After some consideration, I decided to use threaded features to hold the taps and the dies.

The 3mm, 4mm and 5mm dies are held in place by 8mm long Socket Head Cap Screws pressed into pockets for the head.

The 6mm and 7mm dies are held by a thread cut into the plastic post with the dies themselves. I did make the posts 1/2mm under nominal so they should be easy to cut. Still, cut these threads with care so as not to break them off or get them out of square.

All the taps are held by threads cut into the insert. I made the holes nominally the size of the tap drill for the thread, so you may need to ream them out to size with a hand drill if your printer makes under sized holes.
