### A 3-phase-generator and a 3-phase-motor ###
This experiment demonstrates the structure and the function of a simplified 3-phase-generator and the corresponding motor. Suitable for students in grades 8 to 10.
You need one magnet of the lenght 70mm and a diameter of 18mm (e.g.: Phywe 06318-00) and six coils with 400 turns (e.g.: Phywe 07829-01) and the iron core (yoke)
Phywe 07833-00. Moreover a magnetic needle on a pin is necessary.
#### Components: ####
magnet-holder and bearing_608zz_adapter : glue or press them both together and press them into the bearing (the bearing is from an old roller-skate).
3-phase-generator: i hope the pictures make the structure of the experiment sufficiently understandable.
3-phase-motor: insert a magnetic needle on a pin into the middle
#### Results of the experiment ####
If you turn the magnet in the generator by hand in rotation, then the magnetic needle rotates in the same way. It takes a little experience to set the right speed of the magnet here, but after some time, students will always succeed.
