Description
The advantages of this mount for Tornado, CR10, Ender, is:
Currently set up for the Tornado with Volcano & BLT, but could in theory hold E3D Volcano onto anything.
It is also set up for BLT, obviously, and Volcano
It is supporting Volcano and V6 on the BLT adjustment, but not the fan and mount holes[yet]
I had to make this new listing (from thing:3685673) because the other one was corrupting the files.
Oct2019 update-I added some plugs for the gaps around the fan-just to force more air over the fins. In future V3 I will incorporate into the main design.
In a future version this will support E3DV6. Let me know in the comments if you want this soon.
V2 TEST Files - PLEASE let me know how these fit - will adjust if needed.
Ive just uploaded V2 with some changes requested by xxxx and some other improvements:
more clearance for roller bearing bolt
tighter screw holes
added a clasp that grabs around the actual metal mount. Not sure if this will fit all printers - cut it off if it doesnt, or ask me for a version without it. I added this becauser I noticed my mount could wobble there a bit - there are only 2 screws on the Tornado - not enough support in my opinion, so I hope this will improve things.
moved the mount over 5 mm - better central alignment to the bed below, avoids having a screw hole right over the clasp hinge
