Description
This is a curb system for my rc-cars and bikes. Works fine for the openRC F1!
There are in moment 7 parts, and all can clip to another, so you can build any track, you want!
All parts fits all other, you have many, many combinations, you can build curves, tracks, pit stops or something else.
Also is there an option, to change the filament on an height (I had done, mine was the last 5mm on another color, looks really nice, see the photos (sorry for the flipped rotation, thingiverse can't rotate them), also you can print the parts in two or more colors, to build really nice tracks.
Mostly I combine a red, a white, a red, and so on-it looks great.
For some strongness, you should print with 3 walls, and the upper side should have 4-6 layers (on 0.2mm), this makes you really strong parts.
The curbs are designed specially for 1/10 rc-cars, but it also works with some other sizes.
In the example images is my Tamiya Cayenne in 1/10.
The small round plate are 4x the "Endkeil"-parts clipped together, this ist a bit tricky, but possible (you can also build bigger circles, with the other curves).
They are designed like really curbs: you CAN drive on it, but you dont WANT this.
They shouldnt make some destroying on your car, because, they are flat enough, and the maximum height is 20mm.
I sometimes driven over it, with the openRC F1, and the Cayenne, there was never a damage.
Maybe, the system is also scalable- try it.
I don't have tested this.
But, if you will try this, scale all axes the same or the joints will not fit!
I have also some more parts, for example to join 8 of the 150mm-curves and flil the middle (and an holder for GoPro, as an race-Cam, hehe), but they need some work.
Let me know, if you need these parts, or another track parts, maybe, I will listen this, hehe.
The 7 included parts are:
Keil50 is an simple linear part, its 50mm long;
Keil100 is the same, but 100mm long (the shorter one is for more flexibility and a nice look, if you make a white, a red, a white...)
KurveAR15 is an curve, with radius 150mm, outside to track
KurveIR15 is the same, but inside to track
KurveAr30 is like the Ar15, but has 300mm radius
KurveIR30 is similar to Ir15, but 300mm radius.
Endkeil is an end-part, which can be used to make an end of the marking, it can also combined with another of it, so you can build islands (with Keil-parts) or small round plates or so.
Be creative, you can combine all parts with all another, build nice racetracks!
Make photos of your track, and post it here, to inspire other people!
