Hobie H-Rail 1.5" Ball Mount V2

This is V2 of the previous H-Rail mount with 1.5" Ball. The hinges have been redesigned, the mounting plate has been filleted quite a bit more, and the keying hex feature has been added.

1.5" Ball Mount system for the Hobie H-Rail.

The H-Rail mount fits the standard Hobie H-Rail and uses a 1.5" 'Ball style' mount.

There are 3 pieces of Stainless Steel Metric hardware used (And 3 corresponding nuts)

1x M8 x 55mm Stainless Steel Socket Head Bolt - With 1x M8 Stainless Steel Lock-Nut (For the Ball)

1x M6 x 30mm Stainless Steel Socket Head Bolt - With 1x M6 Stainless Steel Lock-Nut (For Mount tightening)

1x M4 x 50mm Stainless Steel Socket Head Bolt - With 1x M4 Stainless Steel Lock-Nut (For Hinge)

The 'Mount side' contains a 'keyed hex' for locking of the ball to eliminate rotation once mounted with accessories. The 1.5" Ball also has the said keying hex.

Printed in PLA with 4 perimeters and an infill of 70% 'Grid' pattern, at a resolution of 0.2mm (Resolution choice is optional)

If using PLA the Ball with need to be 'rubberized'. You can choose to paint it with your choice of rubberized paint, or do as I do and use 'Heat shrink' to achieve said effect. WARNING. If using heat shrink, be super careful when applying heat to the ball as it may become soft. Flash heating with a heat gun works best.
