Update: The STP file is now provided for anyone who wishes to 'remix a remix'. ;)
First off I would like to point out the original designer should receive full credit, I have merely made some minor edits to improve the overall ease of use.
Some edits have been made to the parts tolerances, but the main change is the ability to now use linear bearings. The original part has a simple 8mm bore. This may have been fine for pen plotting but I built the machine to do vinyl cutting, due to the increase in load on the carriage the friction can cause the motor to lose steps.
I would recommend using the metal ball bearing type of linear bearing with this part. Due to the lack of space to add support for bearings I was not able to incorporate a clamp, they're purely press fit. While this method is fine for ball bearings, the DryLin type require clamping force to achieve high tolerances.
Also please ignore my terrible first layer; as the part has a small bed footprint I had to use a brim. As you can see the settings are not exactly dialled in. ;)
