Description
Protective box with cooling fan mounting for Cronos and similar CNC/Laser electronics board which have mounting holes 90mm x 76.5mm spacing.
Note: if your electronics board is narrower, with 75mm x 76.5mm mounting hole spacing then there is a box which might fit with thing:3291676.
I will be releasing a set of cable clips and ducts to go with this board shortly, when I have finished testing them.
If you have already assembled you 3018 then I suggest tacking the circuit board fixing nuts in place with impact adhesive so that they do not move when you fit this enclosure.
I include files for lids with alternative mountings for cooling fans. It is important to use a fan so that the electronics will last longer. The box has extra space on the right-hand side so that you can coil surplus cabling. You should use a cable tie to keep it together so that it is kept clear of the fan.
