Description
I recently got the MMU2 and MK3s upgrade for my Prusa i3 MK3 and with it I realized I need a good place to put all of the filament spools.
So I got 2 storage boxes that are 20L volume and made holes for the filament to pass through, but quickly found that the flament often get caught on the edge of the hole and the PFTE tube is just loose and floppy.
So I made these pass through guides that make sure it's easy to load filament through the box, that is doesn't snag, and that keep the PFTE tubes in place.
The tubes fit snugly into the guides, the filament can pass through easily without jamming, and it's easy to load filament into the tubes/guides from inside the storage boxes. And you can put some silica gel bags inside the boxes to keep your filament nice and dry.
Also the box I got fits the spool holder trays that come with the upgrade perfectly, in case someone is looking for something similar for their setup.
