Description
Here you have a few variations of an oloid with a hole, hence, holoid. They are basically two circles at right angles to each other and overlapping varying amounts.
The circles are then lofted together to create surfaces, then thickened and chamfered. Easy to do with Solidworks, original SW 2016 models included.
I printed two copies of the half holoid, which needs support and epoxied them together. It looks like an oloid, rolls like an oloid but has a hole in it.
