# Fujitsu Power Supply 16pin for STEM #
Well, again another power supply? (See also: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3876829)
Yes! I was fortunate to have received several Fujitsu Power supply. I also want to use these in STEM lessons with students.
The 12V fixed voltage plus a variable voltage between about 1V and 12V is sufficient for many applications in the classroom.
It was important to me to develop a housing that completely encloses this ATX power supply.
I added a photo of the wiring. The step-down converter I packed in shrink tubing to avoid electrical contacts.
Important: For this work, it is necessary to open the housing of the supply!
Within the housing cables must be re-laid and soldered. Please be extra careful! Even after you have disconnected the mainplug of a supply, components inside (especially capacitors!) can still have considerable voltages. It is also necessary to drill some holes for cable routing in the front (next to the fans) of the supply housing. Please drill very carefully here and make sure that the cables are not damaged by the sharp-edged holes. I do not guarantee the correctness of my circuits. Anyone working with electrical equipment should know what he is doing. If in doubt, please ask a specialist.
### A few short comments on the components ###
Fujitsu_power_supply_front.stl: in the grooves behind the front M3 nuts can be pushed in.
For all parts: a support is not necessary.
