Description
Check out our website for more cool stuff! HERE.
It consists of two parts: - new pod/canopy - a action cam "bracelett" (will also be used in a new upcoming 5" frame, stay tuned!) that are bolted togetter with 4 M3x12 screws and 4 M3 Nuts. The canopy is now screwed to the frame using M3 nuts, inserted after printing. Keep in mind: this is still in testing and the strength might not be sufficient to withstand a hard impact on a crash, so use this upgrade at your own risk. I don't take responsability if you break your action cam! The best suited materials for the mount are TPU or Nylon, which are both really strong and tough (ABS and PC could also work, but you need to print them at really high temperatures >270°C in a closed chamber to get a good enough layer adhesion. Don't use PLA or any fibre filled filaments! PETG might work, since it has a very good layer adhesion, but it shatters quite easily on impact. I used red TPU (Tianse) for the Bracelet and natural Nylon (renkforce PA6 by conrad electronic) for the canopy and so far it holds up fairly good. But I also haven't had major crashes till now.License:
