Spray-on clear coat
This trailer hitch cover has been tested since 10/12/2019. It is now 11/1/2019. Even in PLA, it seems to be holding up and has stayed attached for 1000 miles of driving, mostly highway. Print the hitch, glue the magnets into the slots, and hit it with a few layers of clear coat.
DO NOT PRINT WITH SUPPORTS.
