Summary

This simple design was a request from my mother to aid and abet her sewing and quilting addiction. She needed a cutting template for a hexagon such that the cut size of the fabric would have a quarter inch seam allowance on a hexagon with a side length of 1.25 inches.

I extruded the base sketch and added in a feature to allow her to grip the template during cutting. I added in size information labels and a quick artist's initial to the top surface so that it would be easily identified in the future.
