ASK60 Case for Apple Standard keyboard M0116 / M0118

Important notice

I will make some change in the model to reduce the gap of the bottom row but the model is totally usable.

This model isn't related to the fantastic project named also ASK55 by Paradigm. If you want a end-game keyboard, you need to check the parts made by @Pizza_is_a_lie (Geekhack link). This case isn't compatible with the paradigm ASK55.

Hi there,

This is a Apple Standard Keyboard case (M0116 and M0118)
The idea is to make a ASK without numpad. The project have been started because the original ASK alphas and number lenght isn't 15 unit long but 14,5 unlike all others keyboard. At this moment there is no 60% case compatible.

Parts to print

There is two files version of the case. The first is the complete plate, the second is a cut in half of the case designed for smalls printers. If you choose the second one you will need to print some IKEA ankle also provided.
The plate file isn't to print. She is just here for renders and necessary for the design process.

Parts that you need

1. ASK : Alps Switchs, keycaps, stabs and the original plate that you need to cut.
2. Probably Screw.
3. A Lemo connector M9 4-pin, angled if possible.

Tools

1. Plastic glue if you choose the second design
2. Metal saw
3. A dremel, for cutting the plate but also for friction solder the two parts of the case if you have choosed the second version.
