THERE IS ZERO TOLERANCE BUILT INTO THIS MODEL
This is a quick & dirty chop + alignment tab with 0 built-in tolerance. I printed the base .5mm smaller and it fit perfectly, but you could also print and trim/sand/file depending on how precise your printer is.

Description

I printed the wonderful Dragon Creme Egg Holder but I couldn't get all the supports out cleanly and some I just couldn't pull out at all (under tail and belly). I cut the model so that I could get the supports out without scaring the base but it also has the added benefit of being able to use different materials for dragon and base.

Directions

Print both halves, scaling one (or both) for tolerances, do any post processing, shove the dragon on the base and use your favorite glue to hold it together (or rely on friction). Dragon requires supports.
