Another D&D Dice Set
I had trouble finding one with inset faces except for the numbering, so I made my own.
Seven die set: d4, d6, d8, d10 (0-9), d% (00-90), d12, and d20.
Printed reasonably well for me. Would recommend a thin layer height. The dice seem to have the correct average rolls. I modified the models to reflect what I learned after printing. Finished with fine grit sandpaper and a sharpie. Good for painting.
Measurements Before Smoothing Edges
d4: 18mm center to top, 1.6mm inset, 45° taper
d6: 14.5mm side length, 1.8mm inset, 40° taper
d8: 23mm point to point, 1.7mm inset, 35° taper
d10: 20mm point to point, 1.6mm inset, 30° taper
d12: 20mm @ max width, 1.7mm inset, 25° taper
d20: 24mm @ max width, 1.6mm inset, 20° taper
I put a reasonable amount of thought into the dice numbering. For the d20, I used an ideal numerically balanced numbering system described in this paper: http://www2.oberlin.edu/math/faculty/bosch/nbd.pdf.
