Frag rack, organic Shelf for Corals

There are a few organic looking shelves I have made for my reef tank. They will have magnets installed so that they are removable.

For some reason Meshmaker made these huge when I exported them. I printed them at 14% in CURA and they are about 12 inches across. So start at 14 and go down!

I printed with PETG as it is reef safe, make sure you dont print with anything toxic!

I suggest printing no more than 2 mm thick (which is pretty thin) to save material and time. at the size I made them they were 24hr prints.

To install magnets, cut a hole in the back big enough to get them through and put 1 on each side of the hole with epoxy or super glue... 1 at a time and use another magnet to hold them in place while the glue dries.. Use REEF SAFE epoxy coated magnets!

I will be lightly sanding mine to rough them up and make it easier for coraline algae and frags to bond to them.

Also, you should drill holes in them in various inconspicuous locations so that water flows through them and fish can explore inside.

AND you can drill holes through the top to make them into frag racks if you want to keep your corals on the plugs.... I plan to just glue my corals directly to them.
