Replacement insert for round Schlage Bird-Feeder style adjustable striker plate.

Fits Schlage part number 10-058.

The original part is easily broken if over tightened. Age and regular use wear these away over time as well. Unable to find the plastic insert sold separately and not wanting to purchase complete striker plate assemblies at $7 a piece, I designed this. Part designed to meet original manufacturers dimensions with a slight modification to the taper and hole size for the original screw. This was done to prevent the splitting seen in original part when over-tightened.

I printed in Carbon Fiber reinforced PLA. Printing in Nylon would be ideal, unfortunately I don't own a printer capable of doing so. The PLA has proven to hold up well so far.
