Description
v2: I have recreated the model in OpenSCAD, so You can customize it to Your needs:
The measures of the Lithophane can be set and the rest is optimized for the position of the light bulb.
By setting the minimum branch angle You can minimize the amount of the print support.
There is also a possibility to adjust how strong the branches should be.
v1:
IKEA INGARED is a lamp which is an excellent base to hold Lithophanes.
I am not going to detail how to create curved models of your images and put them together in Cura (or any other slicer app) so they have a cylindrical shape.
The STL file attached is created to hold the lithophane of the original size (with appr. 137mm outer diameter and 150mm height).
If you decide to use the FreeCAD (FCStd) model, you can further customize the design:
In case You want to make lithophanes with much bigger diameter, You will need to tinker with branch lengths and angles.
Not for the faint of heart, you can also try to merge together the holder and the lithophane images in the slicer app. (You usually want to use different print settings for the holder)
