YOU REQUIRE: 4 strips of foam, 2 rubber bands & Lubricating oil (optional but recommended)

Here are my Z Rod Cleaners and Lubricators for the Ender 5.
These are designed to sit on each side (upper and lower) of your heat bed on the Z Rod stabilizers and will clean dirt/dust/hair off of the Z Rods and will also lubricate the Rods at the same time.

A 5 day project with 6 different revisions and 36m of wasted filament has gone into designing these to be as good as they can be.
As they move up and down your shaft, 1 side of the foam cleans and the other side acts as a wick for lube to keep your rod wet and ready for business.
With a chamfer top & bottom and an inner ring designed to grasp tightly to your rod, it applies the perfect amount of lubricant to your shaft for the bearing to slide up and down easily.
It has multiple tension adjustments so if it's gripping onto your shaft too tightly, use a flat blade screw driver to loosen the clasp to suit your rods girth. You can also do this if it's 'Tapping' like it does in my video.
With this print, it's just one less thing to worry about.
I linked them with a rubber band as I intend to use bed supports that grip around the bottom bearing holder. If you don't want to use rubber bands and your not going to install bed supports, design the bottom one with a bracket to clip onto the bearing holder and weight the top one down.

You will need to print 4 to clean & lube 2 rods at the same time, one on each end.
You don't need to worry about the cleaners getting crushed, I can assure you that they can clean and lube the full length of your rod and will not bottom out.
