Description

Just a really simple bracket for the in-tank sensor for the AutoAqua Smart ATO system.

The little sensor does come with a small magnet, however it doesn't stop the sensor from tilting left/right meaning your water level readings will be off. Plus, the magnet is kinda weak anyway.

The sensor slides in from the front and hangs over the tank edge, holding the sensor itself securely in-place so it doesn't rotate or slide.

I have added the STL and the Fusion 360 file so you can edit the lip if you have thicker/thinner tank glass. Its currently set for 5.5mm glass.

Recommend that you print this in ABS, it will last longer than a PLA print, but in my experience, with constant contact with the water, the ABS part only lasts around 3-4 months before its very weak.

Added a V2 version of the file which has a baffle at the front and twin hooks to allow the sensor to slide in from the rear. In the evening, my sensor was being hit with sunlight, "blinding" the sensor and causing it to empty my entire RO water container into the tank, not good. This will need supports if printing on an FDM machine.

If printing on a DLP/LCD resin based machine, get the V2_DLP file. This is pre-sliced with supports in all the right places to ensure a trouble free print. DO NOT put this resin printed part straight into you tank. You can coat the printed part in Krylon Fusion or Plastidip to seal it from the aquarium. Both of these coatings have been used with success by other reef keepers.
