Description
These are magnet arms for the Anycubic Kossel Linear Plus.
These are based on Haydn Huntley's magnet arms.
They are designed for 10 mm Ø steel balls and 10 mm Ø x 15 mm long N50 magnets.
To assemble, print the carriages and effector.
Each carriage needs an M3 nyloc bolt and a 20mm screw for the tensioner.
Add the 10mm steel balls to the carriages and the effector using m4 x 8mm bolts.
Print 12 of the magnet holders. Insert a magnet into each of the holders and glue them together.
Slide 6 of the connectors onto one end of each of the 4mm carbon rods. Use a touch of glue to hold them firm
Then, slide the other 6 magnet holders onto the other ends of the rods, and use a jig to carefully make each rod the same length. Use a jig with a steel ball at each end, rather than just pressing on the end of the magnet holder.
The DELTA_EFFECTOR_OFFSET for this effector is 23mm.
