Description
This is a mix of different projects that I like but I also always wanted direct drive so I did some adaptation in Fusion 360. The main upside to the design is it's very easy to access everything.
The design here (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2784599) was great but didn't have BL Touch support. Also it relied on another cooler here (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2612897) so I decided to compile that into one page. Finally, I added the great adjustable BL Touch mount by mediaman located here (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3182917). Finally, I updated the bowden retention clip to have a handle which is a bit more convenient for putting it on and taking it off with some needle nose pliers.
There are 2 BMG/Stepper brackets. I have only tested the one seen in the picture. I tried to label them clearly. If you're mounting it like the picture, just see if your wheel is pointing toward you or away from you and print the appropriate bracket. If your wheel faces away and it doesn't fit, let me know or feel free to edit the F360 file I've included.
For the main cooler part, print flat with supports. The other parts should not need support.
At some point I will design a cable holder that can screw into the 2 holes I added to the back of the direct drive adapter but don't know when that's coming.
