Blackwings Banner

Banner for the Raven Guards's 1's company known as the "blackwings."

I couldn't find a picture of a banner for them so i made this up based on the name and general space marine style.

This is scaled to fit the primaris ancient from conquest/dark imperium.

However as with everything i make it's not quite perfect. The hand is maybe 20% too big, looks a bit chunky. i was also lazy about cutting the hand for a precise fit at the wrist so a chunk needs to be cut away from the hand because the arm and the hand both have the wrist ring. plus side i did get the rough height of the hand correct so it does fit pretty well when cut down. And the slightly giant hand problem isn't too noticeable hiding behind the banner.

One last note. The long part of the banner pole has a thin hole running right the way through it. This was an idea i had to stop it warping (don't know if my logic is sound on that) and also to have a pilot hole on top for pinning some sort of banner pole topper on because i couldn't think what to make to go on top. lol. It does mean the pole is potentially more fragile than you'd think so be cautious.

Update: Due to request i have added a hand-less version of the banner and i made a guesstimated correct hand size version as well called Sm hand. I haven't printed either of these so they're untested but so close to the original there shouldn't be any problems. Post a make if you do one as i'd like to see! :)
