Description
I was too lazy to go to the hardware store and thought I would just modify the original design to use without having to spend the .75 cents. Well I have to tell you I probably used $5 in filament just getting this done lol.
Anyway it was fun printing (in the beginning) and turned out sweet.
NOTE
Here's how i ended up printing these parts:
.016 PLA (Hatchbox)
203 deg
10% Support Zig-Zag with .016 top and bottom gap distance
I use my own shapes like Cura's support block but you can use whatever, if you are having issues with Cura's VERY TEMPERAMENTAL support blocks just use whatever support method works on the preview. Cura seriously needs to get this issue resolved. anyway...moving forward...
Screw: The screw needs to be 75% infill
I used the support blocks in Cura for the support and made it about 3mm thick and about the size of a (thin) dime in dia. and it's easy to pop off the support
Block: 50-75 infill 5-7 walls support blocks in Cura for the recesses but it's iffy
Knob: 25% infill 5-7 walls
Bracket: 50-75 infill 5-7 walls support blocks in Cura
It's a fun print enjoy and a HUGE THANK YOU to JARRODASMITH for the great design!!
