Description

This is a set of brackets I use to mount (3) 15mm square LED light bars on my CR-10 v2.

Edit: I was asked which lights I am using. Here's the link:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y3YG8PP/

Two of the "20mm Extrusion Brackets" will hold a light horizontally at the top of the frame, angled down at the carriage. It clips into the 20mm extrusion crosspiece at the top. It is a remix from something I cannot currently pinpoint, but that one had an open system that the light bar just lay in, which allowed it to be jostled out unless wire-tied in. My change was to make a full enclosed hole for the light to slide through, so it cannot come out accidentally.

Two (each side) of the "15mm Square LED light to 18mm Round CR10 v2 Brace Clip"s wll hold a light on the z-axis brace tube, which is 18mm in diameter. It just clips on, and allows you to rotate it around the axis of that support to whatever angle you desire. It's snug enough to stay put. I put my lights in at a 90º angle to the bracket, then rotate them to the outside 45º of the support, so that they stay completely out of the way of the bed and carriage at any height.

I encountered a couple of different actual dimensioned light bars that were supposed to be 15mm (one was 14.95), I kept these at 15mm, so, if yours is a bit sloppy and tends to slide when you don't want it to, add a layer or two of blue painters' tape onto the light bar at the point the bracket will be holding it, and it will fit snugly enough.

These are designed at 20mm thickness, but if you want to save time and material, you can cut them down to 10mm if you desire, but the more friction due to that thickness, the better things will stay in place.
