Description
My PC's two top 120mm vents collect a lot of dust when powered off, so of course I made an elaborate and questionably practical contraption to fight dust and look cool.
Since I only have a fan on one of the two available vents, I also included an optional tray sized to hold a WD MyPassport external drive.
The STLs are not oriented but it should be very obvious which side of each part should be placed on the bed.
Most parts require minimal support, specifically:
The screw holes do not need support.
Two styles of mounting plates are included for use: a square frame, and a larger one that extends outwards to cover additional vented area surrounding the fan.
Read the included assembly instruction PDF
No post processing is necessary if your printer is dialed in correctly
Attach the mounting plate to the case before installing the doors!
Select a side of your preference to install the handle/knobs (see instruction pdf)
Assembly uses 6 M3x20mm bolts and 6 M3x12mm bolts. You can use other M3 bolts similar in size, but make sure they extend far enough into the hinges.
The doors should slide smoothly, loosen the bolts or file down print artifacts around the hinges if they bind.
