Description
This is a model of the skatebowl of the city of Kortrijk in Belgium.
I've designed the real one over 15 years ago and then built it with teampain from the USA.
this design isn't 100% accurate since i've just drew it up in sketchup based on what i still had in my head for measurements. the real one was drawn in autocad.
fun fact, there are over 30 stone columns that go 15 meter deep to prevent the bowl from raising/cracking when there is a lot of ground water and the river next to it is flooding.
google Skatebowl Albertpark if you want to see more pictures of this park, or check out www.teampain.com for more info about skateparks.
print with 20% infill and 2 borders with a 0.40 nozzle.
make sure to slow your printer for the cradle part so it has time to set before each layer.
