Description
A simple desktop speaker stand to tilt speakers up/back approximately 10 degrees. Specifically designed for Bang & Olufsen Beovox CX100 and CX50s but will of course work with C75, C40, etc.
My speakers originally sat flat on a desk but one day I noticed the sound was much better at tweeter level. Raising the speakers wasn't an option because they are very heavy for their size. Instead I decided to tilt them back by putting various items under the front edges. It sounded better but looked bad and was hard to keep consistent.
So I designed these simple stands to tilt the speakers back at a fixed angle. The stands have a lip on the back that hooks the back bottom edge of the speaker and keeps it from sliding off.
You can scale stand vertically in your slicer to obtain a different tilt angle. For example, scaling 200% in the z direction (leaving x and y alone) will roughly double the tilt angle. Scale all axes proportionately to accommodate larger or smaller speakers.
