Celestron 1.25 inch Eyepiece Filter DIY ring

This is designed for resin printers but if you adjust the size I bet a good FDM printer could make this.

The threads should line up just right for Celestron eyepieces or any other eyepiece that uses m28.5x.6 threads. You can adjust your print settings to get it a little thinner or thicker if needed but after a couple attempts my settings are perfect for me.

To assemble:

1. Cut out the filter material just a tiny bit smaller than the smaller ring. It's 22.5mm in diameter.
2. Place the filter material in the larger threaded ring.
3. Place the smaller ring inside the larger threaded ring.
4. For me this is a snug fit and doesn't need glue but use it if you need to.

Because of the slots on the threaded ring you may be able to press it in a little before you screw it down. This design will also help compensate for small variations in size.
