Summary

A simple, robust cover for S-x-12 style PSUs.

I started with the one for the Anet A8, and used OpenSCAD to cut the thing down, move some holes around, etc. What I wouldn't give for a truly parametric design. :-/ Oh well.

This gets the job done for me.

Post-Printing

Mounting to the PSU

            <div><p>Make sure the circuit board on your PSU is as even as possible with the bottom of the chassis for a good fit. Otherwise, you may need to cut a bit out to get the PCB to fit nicely.<br>One of my PSUs was like that -- I opted to dismantle the PSU and drill the mount holes out so that I could seat the board in the appropriate place.</p><p>You'll need to remove the small screw that mounts the PCB to the chassis near the terminal block, and replace it with an appropriately long M3 screw.</p><p>For mounting the PSU to a wall, or cabinet I used #6x12 pan-head zinc coated 'metal' (coarse grained, not the self-drilling type) screws, then I attached the shroud.</p></div>
