Description

Hello,

this is a DIY solar power bank with a lipo battery of 5000mAh.

You need :

  • solar panel : https://www.banggood.com/12V-4_2W-130200mm-Portable-Polycrystalline-Solar-Panel-p-1380610.html?rmmds=myorder&cur_warehouse=CN
  • solar board : https://www.banggood.com/3pcs-DIY-5V-2A-Voltage-Regulator-Junction-Box-Solar-Panel-Charger-Special-Kit-p-1346493.html?rmmds=myorder&cur_warehouse=CN
  • charge board dual USB with lcd screen : https://www.banggood.com/Dual-USB-5V-1A-2_1A-Mobile-Power-Bank-18650-Battery-Charger-PCB-Module-Board-p-1031593.html?rmmds=myorder&cur_warehouse=CN
  • battery is from a 3s lipo 5000mAh not use : 3s means you can make 3 solar panel bank with ;)

1-remove the USB connector on the solar board and solder + and - wire to the output of the micro usb on the charge board (you have the GND on the back left and the + is on the right : more easy to solder the capacitor just near the back of the connector).

2-Solder the solar panel to the + and - on the solar board.

3-Solder a batterie (5000mah is a good choice) to the batt+ and - of the power bank board.

You can charge the battery with the micro USB of the power bank board or charge with the solar panel (quite a long time).

The solar panel is more to reduce the discharge than to completly charge the battery, but if you let the solar panel under a bright sun, it will charge the battery between 4 and 5 hours.
