Summary

This device will help to hold your SMD part while you solder. Other helpers call for using a metal needle or pin as the contact point. I wanted to use a toothpick so I did not damage sensitive SMD components such as LEDs or accidentally solder a metal pin.

I was inspired by the SMD Beak by Enginethrust but wanted something a bit simpler.

I used Tinkercad and about 10 minutes of my time to design. If I need more weight I will glue some pennies onto the top of the head.
