Description
I use Nikons, which mostly have a 52mm lens thread, but I have some 58mms, which are standard for Canon. So rather than buy some step up adapters, I decided to print one to use an IR filter for my modded camera. I looked and was kinda surprised there hasn't been one of these on there, so I made one.
So far, Works great, though like any adapters for filters, be careful not to force it and cross thread it.
Supports not required, as I've included a support ring inside it. It seems to remove fairly cleanly, with just pliers. I did print this with a raft due to the particular printer I used for this, but you can probably do without that.
This uses threads.scad - Copyright 2017 Dan Kirshner - [email protected] (Which is why it can't directly be a customizer, as customizer doesn't allow for multiple scad files.) However, using OpenSCAD you can download it and customize it easily, for any other sizes.
Edit 2021-05-13: I added a few (One I got a message asking for, and a few that I made for myself.)
