Tripod from 20mm PVC pipe

A lightweight tripod using 20mm PVC electric pipes.

Shown on photo with shiba inu for scale.

No nuts and bolts required, just the pipes, filament and some superglue.
Not suited for heavy loads but perfect for a smartphone camera stand, a webcam or a go-pro.
Camera mount itself is not included (yet).

Print:
3x Foot.stl
3x Leg-hinge.stl
1x each for the other files

Assembly:
Cut 3 pipes of same length for the legs. I used 60cm.
Cut 3 shorter pipes for the leg supports. I used 15cm.
Cut 1 long pipe for the center (vertical). I used 45cm but you can make it longer.

Glue the 3 long leg pipes to the top hinge (the larger one)
Glue the 3 shorter pipes to the center hinge (the smaller one)
Connect the leg hinges, insert the center pipe, and test the opening and closing of the tripod. Mark the ideal position of the leg hinges and top hinge.
My top hinge was about 30cm from the bottom of the center tube, and the center hinge 13cm from the bottom. The bottom hinge is NOT GLUED, this one has to move up and down, but glue the other parts.
Finally glue the feet on the legs, and the bottom stop on the vertical.
