Description
I just bought Nanopresso for a couple of weeks and I found that pouring fresh-grind grain into the basket was a problem to me. It is not if you buy pre-ground. I learn to "grind-just-before-brew" which is said will bring you the best shot, so I bought a hand grinder because I make only one cup a day in the morning.
I use Nanopresso spoon for the measurement which give a perfect measurement for the basket too but everytime I poured the ground coffee into the basket I messed up with coffee spilled which also meant reducing the amount of grain needed for a perfect shot.
Now it is not. With this wide funnel, no more spills. Pour half the grain into basket and press at medium pressure with polkadot-side of the DualTamper. The dots are intended to create jiggy surface so that the second tamp on coffee in the basket will create a unity instead of layered. The second tamp use a flat surface of the DualTamper. If you are using glass bed and good calibrated printer then you can omit the original Nanopresso tamper. If not, then re-tamp with the original tamper for best result (flat surface on the basket).
Print settings do not matter, but bed leveling is crucial to get a flat tamper.
Enjoy.
